Pennichuck Corp. to Ring Closing NASDAQ Bell in Celebration of
150th Anniversary of Consecutive Dividends

Merrimack, NH (NASDAQ: PNNW) - Pennichuck Corporation CEO and President Donald L. Correll will celebrate the company's 150th anniversary of consecutive dividends by ringing The NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell on Thursday, March 2, at NASDAQ's Times Square studio.

Pennichuck Corporation is traded on The NASDAQ Stock Market under the symbol "PNNW" and is New Hampshire's oldest continuously operating business, having been incorporated 154 years ago. Pennichuck Corporation declared its first dividend during the first quarter of 1856.

"This is a special anniversary for Pennichuck, as we mark a century and a half of service to the state of New Hampshire and many of its communities," said Correll. "Pennichuck was incorporated during a time when water service as we know it today was considered a pie-in-the-sky notion. Pennichuck has grown tremendously over many years and today, we are proud to deliver state-of-the-art quality water service to tens of thousands in New England."

The NASDAQ Stock Market closes at 4 p.m. Correll, joined by Pennichuck employees and members of the board of directors, will preside over the ringing of the closing bell.
