Nashua city leaders are continuing their hostile takeover attempt of Pennichuck despite growing opposition and recent testimony from the expert Staff at the PUC that a takeover is not in the public interest. Here’s what an unbiased third party, the state’s largest newspaper, had to say about the city’s decision to continue the battle. Perhaps city leaders should follow suit and consult an outside third party to get an unbiased assessment of their case and where they stand legally in their attempt to take over Pennichuck. An opinion from a third party on the status of their eminent domain case couldn’t hurt.
