YOU SHOULD KNOW
Nashua city
leaders are continuing their hostile takeover attempt of Pennichuck
despite growing opposition and recent testimony from the expert Staff
at the PUC that a takeover is not in the public interest. Here’s what
an unbiased third party, the state’s largest newspaper, had to
say about the city’s decision to continue the battle. Perhaps city leaders
should follow suit and consult an outside third party to get an unbiased
assessment of their case and where they stand legally in their attempt
to take over Pennichuck. An opinion from a third party on the status
of their eminent domain case couldn’t hurt.
