PENNICHUCK:
WHERE THE CANDIDATES STAND

“Do you truly believe that our rates will not increase [under
city ownership? Have you seen our property tax lately?”

– MARK COOKSON

“The details on the delivery, cost and quality of
our water should not be left to the Mayor and a
select group of Aldermen.”
– ROBERT HALLOWELL

“Stop paying lawyers and consultants and that will
end this comical tragedy.”
– FRED TEEBOOM

I oppose the city’s efforts. – GREGORY WILLIAMS

Silence speaks volumes. Out of 20 candidates for aldermen,
only 5 responded to a survey recently conducted by SmartWater.

Four out of the five who did respond OPPOSE the city of Nashua’s
effort to take Pennichuck Water Works through eminent domain. They are:

Mark Cookson - Ward 1 Alderman
Robert Hallowell - Alderman-at-large
Fred Teeboom - Alderman-at-large
Gregory Williams - Ward 9 Alderman

These candidates are in line with the nearly 70 percent of likely voters who say
they would vote against taking Pennichuck if an election were held today.

Candidate Dave MacLaughlin also responded and while we do not agree with
his position supporting the city’s efforts, we applaud all of the candidates who
took the time to respond to the survey.

The hostile takeover of Pennichuck is an important election issue. You deserve to know
where the candidates stand. Ask the tough questions. Let your voice be heard.

Tired of higher taxes? Wasteful spending? Vote for change November 8th.
