Corporation Announces Third Quarter 2005 MERRIMACK, NH (August 2, 2005) – Donald L. Correll, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pennichuck Corporation, (NASDAQ: PNNW) today announced that the company’s Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.165 per share payable on September 1, 2005 to shareholders of record as of August 15, 2005. This quarterly dividend remains unchanged from the previous quarter and results in an annualized dividend rate of $0.66 per share. During the previous quarter, the company approved a 2.3 percent cash dividend increase and also a stock split effected in the form of a 33 1/3 percent stock distribution which were both effective with the June 1, 2005 dividend payment. Mr. Correll also noted that the Company’s next dividend reinvestment date under the Company’s Common Stock Purchase and Dividend Reinvestment Plan is September 1, 2005.
