| Health Effects: Coliforms are bacteria which are naturally present in the environment and are used as an indicator that other, potentially-harmful, bacteria may be present. Coliforms were found in more samples than allowed and this was a warning of potential problems. | ||||||||||||

| What is the source of my drinking water? | ||||||||||||
| The source of the WESCO water supply are four gravel pack wells two of which are located on the north and south sides of Pinnacle Pond. These wells are owned and operated by the Hooksett Village Water Precinct. Treatment consists of sodium hypochlorite for disinfection; sodium carbonate for pH control; polyphosphate for iron and manganese sequestration. | ||||||||||||
