What is the source of my drinking water?
The sources of the W&E water supply are three wells located off West Shore Road in Windham, NH.  Well # 3 is located 45 feet southwest of the pump house.  Well # 4 is located 107 feet south of the pump house.  Well # 6 is located 1,270 feet southwest of the pump house.  Treatment consists of manganese green sand filtration to remove iron and manganese, ion exchange to remove hardness from the water, chlorine addition to kill bacteria, and pH adjustment to aid in corrosion control and optimize iron and manganese removal.
