What is the source of my drinking water?
The sources of the Autumn Woods water supply is three wells located off Route 111 in North Salem, NH.  Well #1 is located 175' north of the pump house, well # 3 is located 91' north of the pump house, and well # 4 is located 1,160' northeast of the pump house.  Treatment consists of chlorine for disinfection and filtration to remove iron and manganese.  An aeration device is used to remove radon from the water.
Text Box: On 7/6/10 approximately 9,000 gallons of drinking water was transferred from Pennichuck Water Work's Treatment Plant in Nashua to the Autumn Wood's storage tank. This was done because one of the wells had tripped and the storage tank was low.
