New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission Reaffirms Eminent Domain Order
Pennichuck Corporation (NASDAQ: PNNW) today announced that on Friday, March 13, the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission (“NHPUC”) issued its order in response to the motions for rehearing or reconsideration that had been filed by the Company and by the City of Nashua, New Hampshire relating to their ongoing eminent domain dispute. In the March 13 ruling, the NHPUC denied the motions of both parties in their entirety on the basis that neither party had presented any new arguments or evidence that the NHPUC had not previously considered. Under New Hampshire law, the parties have thirty days to file appeals to the New Hampshire Supreme Court after denial of a motion for reconsideration.

Pennichuck Corporation Retains Investment Banking Firm
Pennichuck Corporation (NASDAQ: PNNW) today announced that it has engaged the investment banking firm of Boenning & Scattergood, Inc. (www.boenninginc.com) to advise it regarding a possible comprehensive settlement of its ongoing eminent domain dispute with the City of Nashua, New Hampshire. A settlement could involve Nashua’s acquisition of some or all of the assets of Pennichuck or one or more of its subsidiaries or, alternatively, the shares of Pennichuck stock. On November 18, 2008, the City of Nashua announced that it was hiring an investment banking firm to assist it in exploring all possible ways that it might acquire Pennichuck Water Works by means other than eminent domain.

Pennichuck Corporation Comments On City of Nashua Press Release
Pennichuck Corporation (NASDAQ: PNNW) today commented on a press release that was issued by the City of Nashua, New Hampshire yesterday. In its press release, the City announced that it is hiring two advisory firms to assist it in exploring all possible ways that it might acquire the Company’s Pennichuck Water Works, Inc. regulated utility subsidiary by means other than eminent domain.

Pennichuck Corporation (NASDAQ: PNNW) today announced the results of a new survey conducted from September 25 – 28, 2008 by American Research Group regarding the City of Nashua’s proposed taking of the operating assets of the Company’s Pennichuck Water Works, Inc. regulated utility subsidiary (“PWW”) by eminent domain.

Pennichuck Corporation (NASDAQ: PNNW) today commented on a September 3, 2008 research report issued by Gabelli & Company, Inc. (“Gabelli”) regarding the Company (the “Gabelli Report”). Based on Schedule 13D filings to-date with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Gabelli beneficially owns approximately 14% of Pennichuck’s outstanding common shares.
